Hi! I’m River.
(He/Him)
I’m a motion, graphic, experience, and game designer based out of Boston. I have a B.S. in Graphic Design from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, and a psychology minor.
My admiration of design began early with level editors in video games, I loved having the ability to express myself creatively and felt both empowered and exhilarated. In the last nine years, I have grown a substantial following online with my designs, most notably with Geometry Dash, which allowed me to cultivate a style all my own.
When I create, I think about what makes great design—something that includes, delights, informs, and accelerates. “Shaping the abstract” is my tagline because my lifelong goal is to take nuanced ideas and represent them precisely, yet simply.
Think of seeing a metal panel on a door instead of a handle—you see it, and immediately understand something that normally takes time and guesswork. Where else can we find the panels in a complex world?
(And have some fun with it, too!)
